This beautiful hat is wonderfully lightweight and surprisingly warm at the same time. The rib edge is knitted in one strand Mayflower New Sky, while the hat itself is knitted in three strands Mayflower Super Kid Silk. Therefore, it is of course also Super Kid Silk that really makes this hat so wonderful.

Super Kid Silk is a wonderful blend of mohair and silk. Both fibers are incredibly soft, and the luxurious mohair gives the yarn an incomparable lightness, as the yarn actually has a running length of 195 meters per 25 grams.

Super Kid Silk is also available in a printed version. Our versions of the hat are knitted with three different variants of Super Kid Silk Print, which creates the most beautiful color gradients that add up to some wild color effects. Each variant of Super Kid Silk Print has its own colors and color changes.

The possibilities are endless when knitting with Super Kid Silk Print and every new combination is a new adventure. Alternatively, you can also choose to make a more subdued version by replacing one or more of the printed threads with our plain Super Kid Silk.

In total, you will need approximately 40 g of Super Kid Silk for the longest version of the hat.
