A lovely warm and thick beanie and fluffy scarf, both knitted in seed stitch using double yarn in soft wool.

Both are worked with one strand of yarn Mayflower Easy Care and one strand Mayflower Easy Care Classic on 6 mm needles for a nice thick quality.

The hat is worked from the bottom up to the top, where you decrease and bind off.

The cowl is worked in a triangle shape, starting at the tip. First work a large triangle, then join the work and work in the round in seed stitch. A tassel is made for the cowl and attached at the bottom of the triangle.

The use of soft wool yarn makes for a warm and breathable hat and cowl. Both qualities are machine washable and tumble dryable and come in wonderful colors. You can therefore choose to knit in a solid color or create a mottled look by knitting with two different colors.

Beaded beanie and scarf with tassel

A lovely warm and thick beanie and fluffy scarf, both knitted in seed stitch using double yarn in soft wool.

Both are worked with one strand of yarn Mayflower Easy Care and one strand Mayflower Easy Care Classic on 6 mm needles for a nice thick quality.

The hat is worked from the bottom up to the top, where you decrease and bind off.

The cowl is worked in a triangle shape, starting at the tip. First work a large triangle, then join the work and work in the round in seed stitch. A tassel is made for the cowl and attached at the bottom of the triangle.

The use of soft wool yarn makes for a warm and breathable hat and cowl. Both qualities are machine washable and tumble dryable and come in wonderful colors. You can therefore choose to knit in a solid color or create a mottled look by knitting with two different colors.
