MAYFLOWERS SIZE GUIDE
(Valid for patterns created after September 1, 2021)
The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

There are very few knitted sweaters with a lace pattern that are more beautiful than the pattern on this sweater. The sweater is knitted with a round neck, and the lace pattern covers both the body and sleeves. The sleeves are attached, but the sweater is designed in such a way that there is a natural flow between the yoke and the sweater's sleeves, so it does not seem distracting that the sleeves are attached afterwards.
The sweater is knitted in Mayflower 1 Class, which is also suitable for sock knitting, as it is a relatively thin yarn quality that is both warm and durable. The thin yarn quality makes it possible to create the detailed pattern while still keeping the sweater relatively light and thin.
This Pattern is not particularly suitable for beginners, as the lace pattern is relatively extensive. Therefore, it is generally an advantage if you have experience with either knitting lace patterns or sweaters. For the slightly more experienced knitter, however, this Pattern is absolutely perfect, as it is truly an exciting and fun knitting pattern that produces a fantastic result.
Note: The original design is made in Mayflower 1 Class color 2027. Unfortunately, the color has been discontinued. As a replacement, we recommend color 02, which is similar to the discontinued color. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose the color yourself with a click on 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color chart.
