The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Jacket
Feminine raw jacket knitted in a square shape so it is easy to wear, this knitted jacket is beautiful and elegant as shown here, the way the front pieces are made in a square style makes it turn into a very small lapel at the top that naturally falls out and drapes down over the front piece. It's very elegant and can be worn with anything you want. It is knitted in the beautiful, soft and delicious yarn from Mayflower called Mayflower Cotton 2. Mayflower Cotton 2 is the middle of a series from Mayflower, Mayflower Cotton 1 - 2 - 3. It is a blend of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic, both of the finest and highest standard. This blend is a clear alternative for those who don't want wool yarns. It is very soft, smooth and comfortable to wear. The combination of cotton and acrylic in this quality from Mayflower makes it highly elastic and holds its shape and color time after time, wash after wash.
