When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Shaped jacket with shawl collar
Beautiful and smart shaped jacket with a beautiful shawl collar that gives a nice little lapel. Knitted in beautiful thin, delicate and feminine stripes. It is knitted in Mayflower Cotton 3. Mayflower Cotton is the thickest of the yarns in the series Mayflower Cotton 1 - 2 - 3. It is made from a blend of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic, both of which are of the highest quality, ensuring a beautiful soft quality that is very elastic. It is a wonderfully comfortable and beautifully soft cotton blend, and it is the safe alternative for those who are not into pure wool quality, for example. The thick cotton makes for a very nice warm and thick jacket for fall and winter.
