The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

This feminine jacket has a simple stripe pattern that gives the jacket a unique structure. The stripe pattern is repeated on the front, back and sleeves and is only broken by 14 cm of garter stitch at the bottom of the sleeves and jacket.
The jacket is knitted in Mayflower New Sky Light, which consists of 42% wool, 42% alpaca and 16% polyamide. Mayflower New Sky Light is a super light and airy yarn quality, but at the same time, a bit of polyamide has been added to the mix, making the yarn extra durable.
The pattern is completely free and can be downloaded at the link below. This is a relatively easy pattern as the stripe pattern is easy to knit.
