When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Karen's shawl

Amadora
Large, triangular shawl with the most beautiful lace pattern. The pattern makes the shawl very fun to knit, and the diagram in the pattern guides you through the knitting project and to a beautiful result.
The Karen shawl is worked from the bottom up in Mayflower Amadora, which is a hand-dyed wool yarn in pure merino wool. The hand-dyeing means that the shawl has a really nice mottled play of colors, which only adds to the end result in combination with the stunning lace pattern. The yarn is also really soft, which makes the shawl really nice and comfortable to wear, as well as warm.
