The cherry pants are bib pants with a beautiful square pattern across the chest. The pattern is made with double pointed needles, knit and purl stitches and gives the bib pants a unique look and structure. The legs are worked in stockinette stitch and the pants are held up over the shoulders with suspenders. The cherry pants are worked from the top down.

The pattern across the chest makes the yarn stretchy, and the pattern helps to ensure that the pants stay in place while also being comfortable and not tight. In the stockinette stitch on the legs, the gauge is slightly looser, which gives more space and good mobility for the legs. A rib at the bottom of the legs ensures that the pants don't ride up.

As the pants are knitted from the top down, it is easy to adjust both the leg and leg length to fit your child, and you can also easily adjust the length of the suspenders. The sizes in the pattern are based on common size guides, so it's important that you take your baby's torso width into account when choosing which size to knit.

The cute Cherry pants are knitted in a really fine and soft wool yarn in 100% merino wool, Mayflower London Merino Fine. The soft yarn is supple and elastic, making it easy to move around in, and it retains both elasticity and softness after washing.
