The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Classic sweater
There are so many knitting patterns to choose from if you want to knit a sweater. Often a multitude of different techniques are used and many sweaters have all kinds of different details.
However, you've come to the right place if you just want to knit a classic sweater, because this pattern is completely free and you can download it below.
In this pattern, the front, back and sleeves are knitted separately. Many people find this approach more manageable. In addition, a high neck has also been added to the sweater for extra warmth and comfort on chilly days.
The sweater is knitted in Mayflower Cotton Merino, which consists of 50% pure wool and 50% cotton. This is one of our most popular yarn qualities because you get the best of two organic materials, resulting in a lovely sweater with great breathability and comfort.
