The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Long cardigan with beaded edge and pockets.
The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up in a beautiful lace pattern with inserted pockets, and finally a fine edge is worked in seed stitch.
The cardigan is knitted in Mayflower Easy Care Big, which is the thickest yarn quality in the Easy Care series in 100% wool. The yarn can be machine washed and tumble dried, resulting in a thick cardigan with some structure. It is therefore very suitable for the cold months of the year, where it will keep you warm, and the wool is also breathable, allowing your body to breathe and get rid of excess heat.
NOTE: The original design is made in Mayflower Easy Care Big color 183. Unfortunately, this color has been discontinued and as a replacement we recommend color 186, which is similar to the discontinued color. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose your own color by clicking 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color card.
