Michelle blouse
The Michelle blouse plays with structure by knitting stripes with two different yarn qualities. This creates a unique effect with extra contrast.
One yarn quality Mayflower Birmingham, which is a beautiful tweed yarn in wool and alpaca with viscose stripes, and the stripes with this yarn are in a classic glass knit.
The other yarn quality is Mayflower Super Kid Silk, which is a thin and airy combination of mohair and silk. These stripes are worked in a lace pattern, which provides an even greater contrast to the solid stripes of Mayflower Birmingham.
Both yarn qualities are wonderfully soft and provide a blouse with a high level of comfort. The yarn fibers are warm and breathable, making the Michelle blouse great for both warm and cool days.
The sweater is knitted from the top down and is relatively easy to work.
