A crochet neck warmer that has a high turtleneck and goes down over both back and chest. The neck warmer protects you from the cold and wind and will keep you warm during the cold months of the year.
The Monday blues neck warmer consists of a front and back piece, which are crocheted in vertical rows of double crochets and then sewn together at the top. The collar is worked in double crochet in the back row, which gives a nice ribbed effect. The cowl is a great project to start regardless of crochet experience.
The cowl is worked in a combination of Mayflower London Merino and Mayflower Super Kid Silk. With one strand of each quality, you get a really soft and fluffy structure and a scarf that feels great against the skin, as both are woolly qualities. Your scarf will also be warm and insulating, making it perfect for the cold weather.
