When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

The Natalie slipover is a lovely vest that is incredibly comfortable to wear. It is knitted in one strand Mayflower Honeybee Print and one strand Mayflower Super Kid Silk, and together they make one of the softest yarn combinations with the most beautiful play of colors due to the Honeybee Print.
The Natalie slipover is worked from the top down. First work the top of the back, then pick up stitches on the left and right shoulders. Finally, join together when the neckline is finished and work the rest in the round. Finally, ribbed edges are worked for the perfect fit.
The simple knitting technique results in a streamlined project that doesn't need to be retrofitted. The pattern is wonderfully easy to follow, as the yarn itself takes care of the beautiful color changes, which also makes this pattern relatively beginner-friendly.
