The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Easy Care Big
Oversized sweater with good length and lots of warmth, as it is knitted in Mayflower Easy Care Big. The sweater can be worn with pants or a skirt, and it can also be used as a dress with leggings or tights.
The comfortable and large sweater invites coziness. It is knitted using the false patent technique, which is a simple technique with knit and purl stitches. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. First in rib and then false patent up to the armholes, where the work is divided and finished separately.
The yarn Easy Care Big is a thick wool yarn, which provides a warm and breathable sweater, making it feel very comfortable to wear. The yarn can even withstand both washing machine and tumble dryer.
Note: The original design was made in Mayflower Easy Care Big color 106, which unfortunately is no longer available. As a replacement, we recommend color 186. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose the color yourself with a click on 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color chart.
