When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

A knitted headband that stands out and is exciting to knit. It is knitted using several different techniques and a yarn that continuously changes color. You'll be inspired to knit an extra row to see how the look of the headband changes with the new color.
The headband is for adults and is knitted with the alpaca blend Mayflower Taormina, which has one long pattern repeat and is composed of different colors that are carefully matched to each other. The yarn is therefore both really soft and really beautiful, as the changing colors give a beautiful result. Alpaca yarn is warm and soft, so the headband can easily keep your ears warm during the fall and winter.
PThe headband is decorated with a crocheted flower.
