Adorable crochet dress for children aged 1-3 years that can be made in colors according to the season. For example, you can make the prettiest Christmas dress using the red color (color 17). The Phillipa dress is a re-design of one of our retro patterns (no. 278).
The dress is worked from the top down with first a round yoke in double crochet and then a shell pattern and double crochet under the armholes. Finally, crochet a curved edge around the neck and sleeve edges and attach 4 buttons on the back.
The Phillipa dress is crocheted on a 3 mm needle in the soft and woolly Mayflower London Merino Fine. The yarn is perfect for soft children's clothing as it is 100% warm merino wool of the finest quality that feels comfortable against even the most delicate skin. The weight of the yarn gives the dress a nice and natural drape.
