When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

This cute girl's vest is the perfect accessory for the cold part of the year, where it can be worn with a blouse underneath. Soft and extremely comfortable, it has short sleeves so it can also be worn on its own.
The vest is knitted in Mayflower Easy Care, which is pure wool. Wool yarn is often associated with winter clothing, but Easy Care is relatively thin, and when combined with the breathability of wool, the vest can also be worn on warmer days.
The vest is knitted from the bottom up, with a nice star pattern on the yoke. It is a relatively quick and easy project.
