Police are always on the front line when there's trouble. They do one of the most dangerous jobs in the country, and all too often, they're met with ungrateful looks. If you agree that Danish police officers do a great job, you can pay tribute to them by crocheting this cute doll.

Our crocheted officer wears the distinctive blue police uniform that we all recognize. The uniform creates a sense of security in the cityscape, because you can always get help from the police. It also makes the doll an ideal gift for children who need a friend and protector when the world can seem a bit scary.

The doll is crocheted in Mayflower Cotton 8/4, which is 100% cotton and has a running length of 170 meters per 50 grams. Mayflower Cotton 8/4 is the optimal choice if you want to crochet the cool cop. The yarn quality is durable and machine washable, and the yarn is so firm that the doll easily holds its shape.

We've tried to make the pattern easier by adding illustrations for the most difficult elements of the doll, so the pattern is also beginner-friendly. You can customize the doll yourself and, for example, make a female police officer using the hair from one of our other crochet heroes.
