The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Easy Care
Adorable, knitted decorative collar for the little ones. The sweet girl collar, which is knitted in Mayflower Easy Care, is the dot over the 'i' for both a dress or sweater and is a quick knitting project. The collar is knitted from the outside in a fine lace pattern.
Easy Care is 100% pure wool, which does not itch. The yarn is easy to wash in the washing machine and dry in the dryer, making it very easy to keep clean. Easy Care is the thinnest quality in the Easy Care series and has the same Knitting gauge as the tweed yarn Mayflower Easy Care Tweed.
The yarn comes in a multitude of colors, many of which are well-suited for a project like this.
