When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Lovely sleeveless knee-length dress with roses on both top and bottom.
The dress is worked from the bottom up, and the front and back are worked separately. At the bottom and top is an over with roses. The rose head is knitted and the stem and leaves are embroidered on at the end. Once the front and back are sewn together, crochet small mouse tacks around the neckline and armholes.
The dress is worked in Mayflower Cotton 8/4, which is a soft cotton yarn of the highest quality. The cotton yarn makes the dress easy to wash, and the yarn doesn't get too hot. It is therefore ideal for a summer dress like this one.
You can also choose to knit the dress in the GOTS-certified Mayflower Cotton 8/4 Organic, which has the same knitting tension and running length.
