Knit a cute and simple retro-style dress for yourself and your daughter.

The dress has beautiful stripes and crochet finishes at the sleeves and neckline, as well as a crocheted edge and button band at the left shoulder. A row of holes is worked at the bottom, and when the edge is folded over and sewn in place, it creates a lovely scalloped edge when the dress is finished.

The dress is worked from the bottom up on 3 mm needles, which gives a firm result as the dress is also worked in Mayflower Cotton 8/4. The cotton yarn is breathable and not too warm, making the dress ideal for year-round wear. Cotton yarn is also easy to wash and clean on a daily basis. Cotton 8/4 is available in a wide range of beautiful colors, which gives you several different color combinations, and the dress can of course also be knitted in solid colors.

NOTE: The original design was made in colors that have unfortunately been discontinued. As a replacement, we recommend color 1402 and color 1449, which are similar to the discontinued colors. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose your own colors by clicking 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color card.
