Garter stitch Chanel-inspired jacket knitted in a beautiful single strand composition Mayflower Super Kid Silk and one strand Mayflower Cotton 8/4. The jacket can be worn for parties as well as everyday life, as it has a great cut.

All pieces are worked from the bottom up and separately. Finally, all pieces are sewn together.

The yarn combination with cotton makes the jacket both firm and really soft, and the mohair fibers in Super Kid Silk give it a nice sheen.

The jacket is knitted with two strands of yarn, so you can play with the color combinations and create a mottled look by combining different shades.

NOTE: The original design is made in Mayflower Cotton 8/4 color 422, which has unfortunately been discontinued. As a replacement we recommend Mayflower Cotton 8/4 Organic color 17, which is similar to the discontinued color. Mayflower Cotton 8/4 and Mayflower Cotton 8/4 Organic have the same knitting tension and running length. Just remember to always do a swatch before you start your project to make sure that the gauge, and therefore the finished measurements, are correct. Also be aware that you may get a different result than in the picture. You can choose your own colors by clicking 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color chart.
