The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

A simple sweater, knitted in rib stitch in the airy Mayflower New Sky, which consists of wool, alpaca, and polyamide.
The sweater is an easy and quick knitting project because New Sky is so voluminous that it can be knitted on needle size 6 and give a beautiful result, even though the yarn has a length of 150 meters per 50 grams.
Mayflower New Sky is available in many different colors, so it's easy to create different versions of this sweater by simply choosing another color.
Note: The original design is made in Mayflower New Sky color 63, which unfortunately is discontinued. We think that color 79 could be a good replacement. Just be aware that you will get a different color expression than in the picture. You can always click 'Choose another color' and find the color(s) you like the most.
