When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Nice and simple cardigan with a wrap effect and a tie at the front. The cardigan has a ribbed pattern on the front and back with stockinette sleeves.
The cardigan is worked from the bottom up. Work the back first, then the fronts and sleeves. The back and fronts are worked in garter stitch and the sleeves are in stockinette stitch with garter stitch at the sleeve edges.
Work this lovely cardigan on 3 mm needles in Mayflower London Merino Fine, which is a really lovely wool yarn spun from extra fine merino wool. This makes the baby's cardigan incredibly soft and comfortable and will feel great against delicate baby skin. The yarn is even machine washable, making it easy to keep the cardigan clean and ready to wear.
