When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Cute beanie in a beautiful pattern with ear flaps to keep your ears warm and protected. The pattern is Peru knit and is based on a previous Mayflower-design that has the number 114-8. This model differs in that it is knitted in a different yarn than the original pattern.
The hat is worked back and forth from the earflaps up towards the top and sewn together on the back. Finally, crochet a border in the round and crochet strings down the earflaps to tie the hat under the chin.
The hat is worked in Mayflower London Merino, which is the softest merino wool that will feel extremely comfortable to wear. The wool is wonderfully soft, warm and breathable, making it perfect for a hat like this.
