When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

The garbage man
A true hero does his job without admiration and applause - and Danish garbage collectors are among the country's most overlooked heroes. Every day they perform hard physical labor, and we often overlook their efforts. On the other hand, we would quickly miss them if they suddenly stopped working.
Garbage men are an indispensable part of Danish society, and now you can pay tribute to them by crocheting our version of a cute garbage man as an everyday hero. The doll is part of our series of crocheted everyday heroes that help make a difference in Denmark.
The doll itself is crocheted in the popular Mayflower Cotton 8/4, which is 100% cotton and has a running length of 170 meters per 50 grams. This yarn quality is perfect for crochet dolls because the cotton yarn has a firmness that helps the doll keep its shape.
