The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

With the combination of this pattern and the soft, thick wool yarn Mayflower Easy Care Big yarn, you'll get a beautiful, decorative cushion for your sofa corner.
The beautiful pattern, which is worked in a ring of double crochets and puff stitches, gives the crocheted cushion the characteristic round pattern that resembles a sun. There are plenty of opportunities to play with the colors in the stripes of the cushion, as shown in the picture. You can also crochet it in just one color for a more solid look, where the pattern will still come into its own and make the cushion stand out on the sofa. Either option will give a great result. Especially because the color of the mounting cushion will show through the holes in the pattern.
Easy Care Big gives the cushion a nice, fluffy structure and the cushion feels nice and warm to snuggle up on. If you're a beginner, the sun cushion is a project you can easily get started on.
NOTE: The original design was made in colors that have unfortunately been discontinued. As a replacement, we have chosen some grayish tones that go well together. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose your own colors by clicking 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color chart.
