SOSU assistants

The Danish SOSUs are everyday heroes as they help care for sick and weak Danes in need of help every single day.

At the same time, they can also offer comfort and encouragement by their presence, as their job is about meeting both the physical and psychological needs of the people they come into contact with. If you want to show your support for the Danish SOSUs, you can pay tribute to them by downloading this pattern and crocheting the cute SOSU. The doll can be used as a gift for a fantastic SOSU or as a toy for a child. Safety eyes are used in the pattern, so the doll is also suitable for smaller children.

Our crochet heroes are made from Mayflower Cotton 8/4, which is 100% pure cotton and has a running length of 170 meters per 50 grams. Cotton yarn is the optimal yarn for the crochet heroes, as cotton gives the doll a good firmness to keep its shape.

The crocheted SOSU assistant is part of our Crochet Heroes series. All dolls in the series have the same measurements. This means that you can use the hair from one of the other dolls for your crocheted SOSU if you want to make a male SOSU assistant, for example.
