The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Striped blouse
Feminine striped blouse knitted in a soft blend of cotton and polyacrylic. The fine stripes make it fun to knit and there are plenty of opportunities to play with the color combinations to suit your taste and wardrobe.
The blouse is worked in the round from the bottom up, back and front at the same time. At the armhole, the stitches rest while you knit the sleeves. Everything is joined in the round and worked with raglan decreases up to the neck edge. This way you have a minimum of assembly work.
