The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Knitted slipover for children
Knitted vest with a v-neck and a decorative pattern, which is on both the front and back piece.
The vest is knitted from the bottom up. First with a ribbed edge and solid-colored yarn, after which the pattern starts. The work is divided at the armholes and finished in the back and front piece respectively.
The vest is knitted in the cotton yarn Mayflower Cotton 8/4, which is pure, soft, and breathable cotton. Therefore, the vest does not get too warm to wear over, for example, a t-shirt, blouse, or shirt, but will feel very comfortable.
You can also knit the vest in the organic Mayflower Cotton 8/4 Organic, which has the same Knitting gauge. Both yarns are available in lovely colors.
