When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

A simple tunic for baby with a nice and simple pattern at the bottom.
The pattern is very beginner-friendly. The tunic is worked top-down. First in garter stitch back and forth, continuously increasing for buttonholes. Then in the round in stockinette stitch with a subtle and simple pattern.
The tunic is worked in Mayflower Cotton 8/4 Organic, which is 100% organic cotton. A soft and firm quality that is easy to clean, as it can easily withstand the washing machine. The yarn is soft and breathable, which is a great advantage when knitting for babies.
