Sweater in stripe

This knitted sweater is both soft and lightweight, making it a pleasure to wear. It has a romantic look, which is only emphasized by the color scheme, which alternates between white and old rose stripes. A knitted sweater is only really good if it's made with great yarn, which is why this sweater is designed to be knitted with one strand of Super Kid Silk and one strand of Easy Care. Mayflower Super Kid Silk consists of 76% mohair and 24% silk and has a running length of 195 meters per 100 grams, while Easy Care is 100% pure new wool and has a running length of 185 meters per 50 grams. Both yarn qualities are delicious and soft individually, but when you put them together, you get an extra soft and airy result, which is also noticeable in this sweater.

The sweater is knitted with raglan sleeves, which is a knitting technique that many people prefer when making knitted sweaters. You can easily try this sweater even if you've never tried making raglan sleeves before, as it's a fairly simple technique where the sleeve is worked in one piece all the way up to the collar, creating a diagonal seam that runs from the forearm up to the collarbone.
