The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

Sweater with borders
Classic Nordic-inspired sweater with yoke pattern, knitted in the soft wool blend from Mayflower. Mayflower 1 class. Mayflower 1 class consists of 75% superwash treated wool and 25% polyamide. It is a very soft and smooth yarn that is also suitable for socks due to its composition. Mayflower However, 1 class is much more than a sock yarn, as you can see from the many patterns it has been used for. This beautiful sweater is knitted in light gray with light red and eggplant patterns. It can easily be combined in other color combinations. You can see the many beautiful colors this yarn is available in. Mayflower 1 class runs 210 sts per 50 grams and is knitted on a two and a half to a three row needle.
