The Mayflower size guide is based on chest width measured directly on the body.
When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

A soft and woolly sweater with a high neck and fine details on the sides and sleeves.
The sweater is to be knitted from the bottom up. The sleeves are knitted separately and sewn into the armholes at the end.
This sweater is perfect for the cold winter months, as it is to be knitted in the wool yarn Mayflower Easy Care Big. The yarn is the thickest quality in the soft Easy Care series and provides a thick sweater that is warm and highly breathable. The sweater will therefore feel really nice and pleasant to wear when you need an extra thick jumper.
Note: The original design was made in Mayflower Easy Care Big color 150, which unfortunately has been discontinued. As a replacement, we recommend color 144. Just be aware that you will get a different result than in the picture. You can choose the color yourself by clicking on 'Choose another color', which unfolds the entire color chart.
