Knitting sweaters with a textured pattern is both easy and fun. There are endless possibilities for creating different looks, and in this pattern, the technique is used to create the most beautiful rhombuses.

The sweater can be knitted in two different yarn qualities, so you can choose between Mayflower Easy Care Classic or Mayflower Baby Alpaca. Both yarns will give the sweater just the right look and give the pattern a perfect structure, but they also both have their own advantages.

Our Easy Care Classic is the perfect choice for a busy family, as the yarn is both machine washable and tumble dryable, despite being 100% wool. The yarn is also soft and therefore suitable for children, who often have more sensitive skin than adults.

Alternatively, you can also choose Baby Alpaca, which consists of 60% alpaca wool and 40% polyamide. This yarn quality is incredibly soft against the skin - and softer than wool yarn. It is also a good choice for children with allergies to the lanolin in sheep's wool, as alpaca wool does not contain lanolin.

Whichever yarn quality you choose, you'll get a beautiful result. Both yarn qualities are available in a wide range of colors, so there are plenty of options to choose the right color. Of course, you can also be inspired by our pictures, where we have knitted the sweater in a few different colors.
