Comet sweater
This baby and children's sweater is a great addition to your child's basic wardrobe during the cold months of the year when they need a warm and insulating sweater.
The Comet sweater is worked top-down with a turtleneck and raglan increases in the yoke. The work is joined under the armholes, then the sleeve sts are set to rest and the body is finished. Then continue working both sleeves and finish with i-cord edges.
The sweater is knitted in the comfortable tweed yarn Mayflower Easy Care Tweed, and only 2-3 balls of yarn are needed depending on the size. The yarn will create a soft, warm and breathable sweater that your child will love to wear. The tweed dots add a nice play of colors. Alternatively, the sweater can also be knitted in solid colors using Mayflower Easy Care, which has the same gauge and length.
