When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

The Thea Top is worked from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. The construction is simple and beginner-friendly, as the sleeves are knitted separately and sewn on at the end. You could easily knit a solid color version of the Thea Top, but we think the wide horizontal stripes give it its own unique charm.
The top is great in the summer months, and you'll really experience the comfort of the top on warm days of the year. It is knitted in the delicious Mayflower Cotton 8/4 Organic, which is the perfect yarn for summer knitting.
Cotton is a temperate yarn quality with excellent breathability, where body heat is easily wicked away from the body. Therefore, you get a lightweight and comfortable Thea top with short sleeves that you can wear during the summer or in other seasons with a sweater.
