Viola Sweater Junior is a mini version of the popular Viola Sweater, so now matching sweaters can be knitted for both mother and daughter.

The sweater is characterized by its beautiful lace pattern, which covers the yoke. Nevertheless, it maintains a simple look, as the rest of the sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch and finally finished with a classic double rib.

To achieve the right balance between soft volume and structure, the sweater is knitted in one strand of Mayflower Easy Care Tweed and one strand of Mayflower Super Kid Silk. Our Easy Care Tweed consists primarily of wool, while Super Kid Silk is a luxurious blend of mohair and silk.

This sweater is assembly-free, although it is knitted from the bottom up. The sleeves are knitted separately and then knitted directly onto the sweater with raglan decreases. The sweater is relatively easy to knit, and the lace pattern on the yoke is the most challenging element besides the raglan decreases.

Viola sweater is also available for adults in two different qualities: Knit it in either Easy Care Classic Tweed and Super Kid Silk (find the pattern here) or in Easy Care Classic and New Sky Light (find the pattern here).

Strikkefasthed: 14 sts in stockinette on needle 7 in 1 strand ECCT and 2 strands SKS = 10 cm.
