The sweater is worked top-down with short rows and raglan increases, and on the body under the sleeves there is a beautiful diagonal pattern that makes the sweater stand out. The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch and has ribbed edges at the neck opening, sleeves and bottom of the sweater.

The sweater is to be knitted in the shiny and really soft Mayflower Alliance, which is a lovely cotton blend. The yarn is light, fine, durable and incredibly soft, making it perfect for a children's sweater like this. The yarn is also machine washable, which makes everyday life easier.
