When an over-width is given in Mayflower patterns, this number is adjusted to the fit that the designer intended the design to have. The stated bust width also includes the range of motion.

The sweater is knitted on 6 and 7 mm needles, and with thick needles you will quickly see results. The sweater is worked top-down with raglan increases in the yoke and twists in the neckline for a better fit.
This rich and delicious sweater is knitted with the lovely wool yarn Mayflower Molly. The wool yarn is only spun very lightly and therefore has a really nice fullness. Molly is available in several beautiful colors, where you can easily find shades that will complement each other beautifully in the Solvej sweater.
