Light and airy A-cut cardigan worked from the bottom up in a simple textured pattern on 4 mm needles.

The striped color pattern emerges all by itself as the cardigan is worked in Mayflower Taormina, which has one long pattern repeat in a mix of narrow and wide stripes in coordinating colors. Taormina is therefore also a great yarn to knit with, as it's fun to see how the colors interact with each other, and it's also a lovely yarn to have in your hands.

Taormina is a really lovely alpaca blend, which makes your Martha cardigan feel really wonderful over your shoulders. It's comfortably warm without being too hot. As each skein contains many different colors, your cardigan can be paired with several different items from your wardrobe, making it hard to find an occasion or outfit where you can't wear your Martha cardigan.
