The sweater is worked top-down with raglan increases in the yoke and a continuous rib pattern with two knit and two purl rows. At the neckline, a folded ribbed edge is worked, and a wide ribbed edge is worked at the sleeve edges and at the bottom.

Yarn selection with alternating Mayflower Easy Care Big and Mayflower BumbleBee Print gives a great color effect, and the sweater has a lot of volume and warmth, as both are rich, woolly yarn qualities.
