Easy Care Tweed

Mayflower Easy Care Tweed is a lovely yarn quality that is part of the Easy Care range. It is produced in an Italian spinning mill, just like the rest of the range. The yarn is similar to Mayflower Easy Care in terms of both length and gauge, but Easy Care Tweed differs in that it has the most beautiful viscose tweed nubs.

The yarn is spun from high quality South American merino wool and has excellent properties when it comes to clothing. The organic fiber is naturally warm, and wool fibers have air pockets that have an insulating effect. Wool also has excellent breathability. A knitted sweater in Easy Care Tweed will therefore keep you warm on a cold day, but your body will still be able to dissipate heat.

The sweater will therefore always feel nice to wear. Easy Care Tweed is also not too thick, as the recommended needle size is 3-3½ mm.

The color range is inspired by the colors you may already know from Easy Care. Here we have borrowed the most beautiful basic colors, which have then been combined with tweed shades in beautiful natural shades.

The soft and airy structure of the yarn makes it easy to knit with and gives a beautiful overall impression where the stitches lay down neatly and evenly. This makes Easy Care Tweed a pleasure to knit with, and as an added bonus, the yarn is also easy to care for. The yarn can be washed in a gentle machine wash. Please note that unlike our classic Easy Care range, the tweed variants cannot be tumble dried.

With Easy Care Tweed you can knit or crochet the most beautiful garments such as sweaters, hats and scarves, where the skeins give the finished result the beautiful, classic tweed look. Since the yarn's gauge and length match Easy Care, you can even use all the Easy Care patterns if you need extra inspiration for your next project with Easy Care Tweed.
